Are you passionate about digital marketing and social media? If so, we are looking for YOU. Brave New Media (BNM) is looking to add a Digital Marketing Coordinator to its growing digital team. This role will assist in the planning, execution and measurement of various digital client initiatives in the areas of social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, web and advertising. Working closely with BNM’s Head of Digital and Social Media Director, this position will gain valuable digital experience working for clients in many different industries including CPG, Retail, Medical, Non-Profit, Education, Sports and more!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for planning, execution and measurement of digital marketing initiatives for clients. 
  • Support social media and community management – including monitoring, responding and documenting engagement with followers across various platforms. 
  • Assist in the development of content across various mediums including web, advertising, email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM and others. 
  • Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, editorial calendars and reporting projects. 
  • Upload, edit and manage web content for various Wordpress-based sites. 
  • Perform market, competitor and benchmarking research for digital campaigns and prepare client presentations. 
  • Attend client meetings and document client deliverables. 
  • Assist in management of BNM social media channels while developing content for BNM website, blog and promotional materials. 
  • Provide support on ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Advertising preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media, marketing or copywriting. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of the agency and with clients. 
  • Copywriting or copy-editing experience a plus. 
  • Experience with various social media channels, their capabilities and knowledge of their advertising platforms. 
  • Experience uploading, editing and managing web content on WordPress. 
  • Positive, team-player, attitude required. 
  • Passionate for digital media/marketing, social media and an eagerness to learn. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven, non-traditional agency environment. 
  • Ability and confidence to quickly understand client industries, products and services.
