The primary role of the Digital Marketing/Advertising Strategist is to provide leadership for the execution of consumer ad campaigns within a unique, fast-paced group supporting innovation activities at a large CPG (consumer product goods) company. Your responsibilities will include the following:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Consults with internal teams to provide recommendations on digital testing strategy 
  • Executes digital advertising campaigns to support early innovation learning 
  • Manages creation of digital assets including landing pages, e-commerce sites, and other digital assets; coordinates resources when needed 
  • Leads identification of digital tools required to support and streamline processes; ensures compatibility and integrations with existing company tools 
  • Maintains connection with other relevant internal teams (several groups within Marketing, Business Services, and Consumer Relations) to ensure integrations, with GMI systems 
  • Stays current in digital best practices, tool, and consumer privacy laws through internal and external connections, trainings, and conferences 
  • Provides training and support on campaign execution to internal employees and teams 
  • Interprets results from digital advertising campaigns and shares insights with cross-functional project teams
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or relevant field 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in paid social advertising and media buying 
  • Skilled in use of Facebook Business Manager, Audiences, and Analytics 
  • Experience leveraging Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Data Studio, Facebook) for campaign performance reporting and optimization 
  • Well versed in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office programs 
  • Prefer experience with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS, creating wireframes and interactive mock-ups 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must be able to collaborate and operate within a large, complex organization 
  • Ability to operate with discipline while managing multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment
