Position Overview:

Marvin is seeking a Digital Product Manager to manage Marvin’s customer-facing digital products and experiences, including multiple Marvin websites, online visualization tools and mobile applications to promote the brand, enhance the user experience and drive sales for Marvin. This role requires developing and maintaining digital product roadmaps, defining product features based on external and internal needs, maintaining a backlog of user stories, working with design and IT teams to deliver functionality, reporting on product performance, staying abreast of competing products, and communicating with external users and internal stakeholders across the organization. The Digital Product Manager works closely with leadership from customer experience, IT, marketing, operations, and business teams to deliver digital applications that ensure an exceptional online experience for consumers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead the product development efforts for Marvin’s customer-facing digital products and experiences (from inception to launch) ensuring solutions follow the digital vision and strategy. 
  • Own and drive the product development life cycle for assigned strategic projects to ensure user experience and business objectives are met from the point of project initiation, through discovery and concepting, definition, development, UAT, refinement, and launch. 
  • Partner with Market Insights, Digital Strategy and Go-To-Market teams to understand customer behavior and needs; translate these insights into new digital products and enhancements. 
  • Develop and actively maintain a digital product roadmap and backlog outlining customer themes, epics and user stories. Prioritize backlog to focus on highest impact work for customers and stakeholders; set minimal viable product releases. 
  • Coordinate digital product priorities of business partners through strong collaboration, negotiation and facilitation of requirements discussions. 
  • Partner with IT to ensure they are getting the direction and support needed to be successful. Actively participate in Agile development process. 
  • Communicate digital product plans and performance to key stakeholders across the organization. 
  • Challenge the status quo when necessary and follow-through to ensure steps are taken to make change.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Practical working knowledge of web technology, including front-end technology, back-end technology, and mobile applications. 
  • Strong working knowledge of product development evaluation processes and best practices.
  • Proven prioritization, analytical and project management skills. 
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • 3+ years of experience leading product development or project management functions, preferably in a digital marketing/web development capacity. 
  • Experience with Agile development processes. 
  • Strong understanding of web development technology, platforms, user-centric web design standards and best practices. 
  • Experience with enterprise level platforms (specific experience with Sitecore, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Jira a plus).
