UnitedHealth Group (UHG) is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and results-driven Senior Digital Strategy and Campaign Planning Specialist. In this role you’ll support the development of strategic plans that leverage our internal and external digital communications channels and make recommendations to drive channel performance.

As the Digital Insights Strategy and Content Planning Specialist, you’ll use your breadth of knowledge across digital media to support and shape compelling digital experiences across our websites, social media platforms, and paid media channels. Leveraging your knowledge of digital analytics, you’ll evaluate campaign performance, conduct competitor analysis, and lead ad hoc analysis to maximize the value produced by each channel. To succeed you’ll need broad knowledge of digital channels, skills in supporting strategy and execution, and proficiency in campaign analysis. Plans move at a quick pace and involve many stakeholders, so flexibility, collaboration and communication are all key.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans for communications initiatives aligned to our broader strategic positioning goals 
  • Coordinates with channel owners, agency partners, and other stakeholders to ensure tactical campaign elements (content components, tracking, etc.) are fulfilled 
  • Measures and analyzes effective practices to aid in the optimization of campaign performance across multiple channels 
  • Partners with Digital Strategists and Content Creators to develop site testing and optimization plans 
  • Plans and applies paid media in support of content initiatives 
  • Delivers actionable insights and recommendations based on business and enterprise strategy 
  • Provides ad-hoc campaign reporting and analysis as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in economics, marketing, communications or other related discipline 
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, analytics, or related field 
  • 2+ years of experience using native analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Kenshoo, Google AdWords, or Google Analytics to evaluate channel performance 
  • Experience supporting campaign planning, execution, and analysis 
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, juggle multiple work streams, and deliver on timelines 
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location. 
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to think analytically and problem solve creatively when needed 
  • Strong verbal / written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Domo or other data visualization tool experience 
  • Proficiency in web publishing and analytics tools such as: AEM, Word Press, or Drupal
