General Purpose of the Job:

The Director, Audience and data, will lead widespread usage and evolution of Quad's Audience data assets and activation thereof, in support of our media and marketing clients across Quad, Betty, and Rise. This role is dedicated to transforming the way advertisers buy and activate audiences. Specifically, this role will focus on encouraging the adoption of Quad's new data stack internally and selling these new capabilities to our clients.

Location: Chicago or Sussex, 4 days in office.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data, media, and marketing.

Job Requirements:

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their audience and data needs and provide tailored solutions that drive consumer engagement.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize audience strategies to improve client outcomes and drive business growth.
  • Promote the adoption of Quad's new data stack among internal teams and clients, highlighting the benefits and capabilities thereof.
  • Actively participate in client meetings and presentations to sell Quad's new data capabilities, demonstrating how they can enhance client strategies and outcomes.
  • Fluency and comfort level working with multiple agency disciplines including media, creative, technology, and analytics
  • A natural and creative problem solver who can assess the landscape and conceptualize solutions to meet client business objectives
  • Successful track-record of cross-functional collaboration with teams, contributors, and stakeholders across multiple seniority levels
  • Considerable experience within the online/offline marketing ecosystems and understanding of the technologies that enable them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple prospects/clients/opportunities simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with proven consulting skills with a strong eye for detail
  • Self-motivated and results-driven team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations. Is adaptable, with a sense of ownership to resolve challenges
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and remain flexible
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically or internationally, only as needed

Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $119,650 - $160,000, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions.
