Director B2B Marketing

We are seeking a willing to take action, forward-thinking B2B marketer who is craving to be part of a customer-obsessed company in a quickly evolving industry. They will be responsible for developing the overarching B2B marketing strategy and will drive key elements of vision, identify market opportunities, develop business cases, value proposition, messaging, and execution of go-to-market strategies. The director will also be accountable for the delivery and management of products/solutions, pricing/budgeting strategies, business software, hardware, valued services and go-to-market/sales support for business. They must be able to work with matrix functions to develop and drive business solution adoption in the marketplace. Accountable for driving balanced and profitable revenue growth through marketing strategy.


  • Develop go-to-market strategy, value proposition, and product marketing strategies for B2B technologies that compels customers to buy 
  • Integrate overall Business Organization strategy with cross-functional strategies functions to ensure alignment with company strategy. 
  • Responsible for educating the market on U.S. Cellular’s business solutions 
  • Identify and lead the new product development pipeline, prioritizing between products and services as the need arises 
  • Establish and grow an outstanding insights that efficiently delivers credible and actionable research, to be used to maximize marketing ROI, turbocharge innovation, and deliver strong creative content 
  • Build product/service strategy that delivers innovative and agile solutions with a “plan-test-do-review” mindset 
  • Measure financial performance (e.g., budgeting, reporting) to drive actions and decisions to ensure achievement of financial targets 
  • Develop and handle measurable KPIs and track ROI to continually evaluate performance targets 
  • Enable Business to make fact-based marketing decisions through delivery of advanced analytics 
  • Focus on technology investment optimization and opportunities for Business channel to achieve encouraged ROI 
  • Lead, attract, motivate and manage high performing teams 
  • Coach, motivate and develop associates to achieve and exceed goals by establishing accountabilities, agreeing to high standards monitoring and reviewing
  • 12+ years of related experience with a combination of technical and creative marketing expertise 
  • Strong technical expertise and competence in Internet of Things (loT), 5G, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technologies 
  • Proven success in developing vision and strategy to drive revenue, launch products, build and manage teams 
  • Experience in developing product/service pipelines, positioning, messaging and go-to-market planning that grow market share in complex and competitive market conditions 
  • Proven execution against performance targets in addition to delivering on key operational metrics (e.g., acquisition, engagement, ROI) and effectively managing budgets 
  • Exceptional track record of building and leading an ROI-focused business marketing function 
  • Extensive experience implementing cohesive performance-based marketing programs focused on customer acquisition, retention and growth 
  • Ability to take complex analytic solutions and articulate actionable insights and operational decisions 
  • Established ability to coach and develop high performing teams in fast-paced and ambigious environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to convey business and technical concepts to subject matter experts and non-technical professionals 
  • Agility in approach to marketing plan development - with a propensity to A/B test, test new hypotheses, learn and fail fast


  • B2B technology marketing experience, primarily in telecommunication, technology, and/or start-up companies 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, wearing multiple hats with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality
