The Director, Brand & Creative is responsible for executing the company's portfolio-wide brand management strategy and leading the supporting in-house creative services team. The role will play a key role in providing B2B brand and innovative solutions to increase brand equity and elevate our assets to fuel the company's growth. The Director—a strong brand and creative leader and strategic forward-thinker—is responsible for overseeing brand management and performance measurement and ensuring the quality of all creative products presented and delivered. Works closely and collaboratively across the organization serving as a resource to multiple departments, including leasing, property management, C-Suite, and the entire senior leadership team to deliver strategically driven and thoughtful execution.


  • Specific areas of responsibility include brand management, creative strategy and development, graphic design, digital design, and videography, from concept through production. 
  • Own, monitor, and manage all external and internal brand assets, including brand strategy, brand experience, brand portfolio, brand standards, messaging, visual identity, and business alignment. 
  • Provide clarity and understanding of the value and power of the brand at the executive level. Improve organizational knowledge of the brand's impact on market value and growth—guide discussions across the organization on brand strategy, architecture, and integration. 
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure brand guidelines are followed across all departments, locations and businesses; ensure brand standards are met at all assets, including collateral, photography, signage, promotional items, communications, campaigns, events, etc. 
  • Define our "internal agency" expectations for quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables. 
  • Solidify visual standards, design expectations, and brand consistency when working with designers, freelancers, and agencies. 
  • Lead and mentor the in-house creative team; manage agency partners and freelancers. 
  • Provide creative expertise, vision, and leadership for large-scale external and internal facing projects across multiple departments. 
  • Act as a thought-leader and champion for marketing, communications, and creative best practices. 
  • Lead the creation of compelling content for digital/social platforms and print publications to advance the story and impact of the organization. 
  • Drive consistency and improvement in all external presented collateral – including managing/sourcing external graphics support as required and print production houses. 
  • Drive consistency and improve the experience of company and client events (including but not limited to virtual events.)
  • BS or BA in design, marketing, communications, creative production, advertising, or other relevant degrees. 
  • 8+ years of experience as a creative director or in brand management, design, advertising, or in-house agency. 
  • Strong writing skills – both creative and attention to detail. 
  • Proven management experience and demonstrated leadership skills. 
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). 
  • Ideas person – continually thinking of new, creative, and innovative ways to effectively promote the Link mission.

  • Exceptional knowledge of brand strategy and management, concepts, and practices. 
  • Omni-channel experience, including print, digital, content/video. 
  • Superior project management and organizational skills. 
  • Strong visual/design sensibility; able to storyboard and visualize possible future design states and articulate concepts for internal business audiences. 
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and creative project management software 
  • Commercial RE industry experience a plus
