Golin is hiring a writer/journalist to serve as the primary author and editor for corporate storytelling projects across a number of clients within our Corporate Communications Practice. The writing director helps teams and clients communicate clearly and effectively, upholding high standards of quality and delivering work rooted in strategy.
First and foremost, this person is a reporter and storyteller for our clients. A curious thinker and a strong writer, the person hired for this role must demonstrate an ability to plan and execute materials ranging from bylines and news stories to scripts, speeches and digital content. Experience as an editor is a plus as this person is responsible for reviewing all writers’ work and helping them create the best possible end-product.
This candidate should have a strong knowledge of topics that are relevant in today’s corporate world, and ideally an understanding of the technology and workforce space. Further, the person should have experience working with company executives to understand their areas of expertise, key business priorities and passion points. We would look to this writer then take those relevant topics, existing corporate messaging and executive insights and turn them into compelling stories that resonate with media and other stakeholders.
