Your Future Team

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, we ask that you are someone who has experience developing communications plans, and who can successfully meet deadlines. You must have an eye for detail and the ability to write for different audiences; we are looking for someone who can manage a schedule of newsletters, emails, and other communications within the brand and who can also collaborate with other departments to effectively communicate important initiatives without over-saturation. An understanding of the nuances of social media is also an asset.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a Hightower brand ambassador by upholding The Hightower Way cultural elements – Mission, Purpose, V.A.L.U.E. Experience, Commitment and Standards, promoting excellence in the internal and external client experience during every encounter 
  • Improve consistency in every client and colleague encounter by embodying the core principles of our Hightower V.A.L.U.E. Experience (Validate, Actively Listen, Leverage Resources, Understand Ownership, Express Gratitude) 
  • Partner with cross-discipline team members to support collaboration and promote a positive client experience 
  • Create a communication calendar including newsletters, executive communications, communications to support our culture initiative, and more 
  • Collaborate with CMO for press releases, award submissions, and additional communications to extend the brand. 
  • Champion Hightower across the greater community and co-lead a social media task force. 
  • Collaborate with events team for conference communications, agenda build-out, speaker intros and agenda flow 
  • Create bi-line articles, blog posts, and other short-form content to support firm goals 
  • Establish procedures to improve efficiency 
  • Manage junior marketing team members, and nurture employee growth 
  • Work side-by-side with the Hightower departments to ensure alignment

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience innovating and accomplishing "big picture" goals 
  • 10+ years of proven experience in financial services communications; 
  • RIA/advisory experience 
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment, and as an engaged manager 
  • Effective judgment in reacting and responding to an advisor and home office requests 
  • Ability to write in different styles/formats across print and digital channels 
  • Project management skills 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a relevant field
