Lead the engagement and philanthropy marketing and communication programs and initiatives for the Foundation to support the entire giving cycle and all types of fundraising strategies. This position will manage marketing and messaging around Children’s as a cause that aligns with Foundation objectives and health system strategic plans.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, non-profit management or related field is required; master’s degree is preferred. 
  • Ten years of professional level experience, which could include five years of team management experience and progressively more responsible and successful donor relations, stewardship and development communications or related experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strategic plans and implementing these plans successfully.
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative spirit and ability to instill trust 
  • Experience and competency in building and sustaining positive long-term relationships. 
  • Requires a high level of organizational and problem-solving skills and innovative approaches to successfully manage and coordinate multiple projects. 
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products required, knowledge of donor database software a plus. 
  • Responsibilities will occasionally require working on some evenings and weekends.
