Position Overview:

You’ll join the W2O Group social media team to focus on social media influencers, both B2C and B2B, primarily with health care clients. Collaborate with account, analytics and influencer teams to identify opportunities for influencer activation, create plans and execute campaigns.

Specifically:

  • Educate clients and internal teams about the value of working with online influencers 
  • Understand and communicate influencer best practices for building relationships, campaigns, including pitching, payment, measurement and FTC guidelines 
  • Develop creative, compelling influencer campaigns for clients, thinking creatively beyond sponsored content – leveraging earned, owned and shared media in addition to paid 
  • Provide senior counsel for clients; communicate a clear vision for deliverables and outline steps and coach junior staff to accomplish with your support 
  • Participate in new business pitches and capabilities presentations to sell in new influencer engagement business

Specific Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (communications or related discipline preferred) 
  • 7-10+ years of communications and/or social media experience 
  • Experience in managing junior staff 
  • Experience with influencer campaigns and paid social media 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally 
  • Business acumen to create project scopes including pricing, deliverables and staffing plans
  • Excellent written and communication skills 
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment 
  • Highly organized, mindful of deadlines, able to multi-task and work under limited supervision 
  • Able to deal with unpredictable situations, with exceptional-problem solving skills 
  • Strong and comfortable presenting to clients/public speaking 
  • Self-motivated, deadline-oriented and demonstrates a strong desire to learn and grow 
  • Strong work ethic, high energy, with a track record of following through with high-quality deliverables on schedule and on budget in a fast-paced, growing, and changing environment 
  • Flexible to changing and completing priorities dictated by client-driven environment 
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Radian 6, GroupHigh, or Sysomos experience is helpful 
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
