Position Overview

As the Director, Marketing & Advertising, you will lead a team of marketing, advertising, and digital technology professionals providing leading-edge services and digital marketing solutions, such as weekly ads, tags, signage, and digital marketing, for all Company customers. You will be responsible for executing and assisting with the development and implementation of the Company's strategy as the leading retail innovation provider of marketing and advertising in the grocery wholesale industry for its retail customers.

In this role, you will partner with other leaders within the Company to demonstrate the Company's Values, execute the Company's Strategic Objectives, achieve financial obligations, and continually elevate the Customer Experience to deliver the best advertising and marketing solutions to our customers.

You Will Contribute By

  • Services and Programs: Developing and supporting our retail customers and internal teams with innovative and industry-leading Marketing solutions, including websites, kiosks, shopper apps, eCommerce, digital coupons, social media, email and text, personalized loyalty marketing, ads, tags, signage, shopper data analytics, etc.
  • Leadership and Strategy: Leading a team of Marketing professionals within the Retail Services Center of Excellence to develop and support the Company's Marketing and Advertising programs. Providing the team with the strategy, direction, guidance, and counseling to deliver the Company's Values and Objectives.
  • Customer Experience: Working closely to support cross-functional teams to provide customers with innovative Marketing solutions that enhance the shopper experience and drive business efficiencies. Providing tools and education cross-functionally to track and grow our Service Concentration Ratio with existing customers.
  • Innovation and Partnerships: Developing solutions and partnerships that provide innovative, cutting-edge Marketing services using the Company's national scale to provide Best-in-Class programs for our retail customers.
  • Project Management: Leading and guiding the Marketing team and cross-functional teams throughout the Company to manage and execute current and future Marketing initiatives.
  • Financial: Assisting with developing the annual operating and capital budgets for marketing in alignment with the company's strategic objectives and delivered results that supported revenue and EBITDA growth.
  • Travel Required: Yes

We’re Searching for Candidates With

  • Specialized Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, digital marketing, retail technology solutions. 
  • Special Skills: Strong financial acumen and PNL management, public and group speaking, and data-driven fact-based presentation. 
  • 5-10 years of experience in retail marketing, digital marketing, advertising, or wholesale supporting retail, preferably in grocery. 
  • Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, Bachelor's Degree - Marketing
