The Director Marketing will set the vision and strategy for the B2B Marketing Group at Magid. Magid’s marketing group operates as the voice of our company.

In this role, the Director Marketing (DM) will be responsible for upping our game in strategic and creative communication and brand positioning. The DM will implement the vision, understanding new-age tools and paving the way to market our most important products to our customers. A key leader in our business, the DM works to understand our target market and partner with various functions to execute marketing initiatives. The DM will work with sales on lead generation, management & processes. The DM will also support HR to develop internal and external communications to attract and retain great talent. The DM will drive collaboration, develop strong marketing competency within the function and create a high performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage lead generation campaigns, distribution, management processes, scoring and conversion. 
  • Drive awareness of Magid as an innovator and leading distributor 
  • Increase visibility and engagement at trade shows and customer events 
  • Expand impressions through traditional and digital media 
  • Create & execute public relations strategy 
  • Support sales team with collateral materials, presentations and other sales tools 
  • Determine need for and execute market research 
  • Oversee the planning and direction of B2B marketing and communication with accountability for the development and introduction of new products 
  • Work with product management team to develop customer-focused integrated marketing plans 
  • Partner with eCommerce team to implement content, drive web traffic and nurture leads to conversion 
  • Influence business decisions 
  • Attract, develop and retain high performing marketing team members 
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to build Magid’s employee brand proposition and employer brand 
  • Lead development of our internal brand, messaging and visual identity 
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure alignment between internal team member experience and messages and our approach to the external talent marketplace

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field; master’s degree preferred 
  • 7-10 years of B2B marketing experience is essential 
  • Strong marketing program development and management capabilities 
  • Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills, with ability to effectively handle multiple projects on a timely basis 
  • Strategic thinker coupled with great execution 
  • Experience with marketing content creation, trade shows and public relations 
  • Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Results oriented with a focus on metric-driven decision making 
  • Team orientation with desire to foster collaboration
