Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Director, Marketing to advance the company’s position as a leader within the graphic communications industry. The role reports to the TPVI Senior Vice President, Sales who reports to the Company Group President. The ideal candidate will oversee integrated marketing strategies and execution for multiple solutions and vertical markets across TPVI. The Director, Marketing has a strong customer focus that supports internal leaders accountable for product and solution revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead TPVI marketing to develop and execute on marketing strategy, aligned with key business stakeholders. 
  • Manage relationships across a complex, matrixed organizational structure. 
  • Build vertical segment go-to-market strategies. 
  • Translate technical details into benefits for the user. 
  • Follow and analyze market trends to position products. 
  • Craft compelling messages across marketing channels. 
  • Maintain marketing and editorial calendar to ensure all marketing plans are launched on-time and on-budget. 
  • Work with various teams to implement strategies that effectively and efficiently generate sales growth. 
  • Test market product features, releases and ad copy prior to launch. 
  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers. 
  • Seize on both macroeconomic and microeconomic trends in the market, along with competitive activity, which could make our go-to-market efforts more timely and relevant including flexibility around adjusting marketing calendar and roadmap accordingly. 
  • Create powerful narratives and stories that provide the fuel for sales to grow, grow quickly, and expand markets. 
  • Build powerful Omni-channel marketing strategies and campaigns utilizing the full suite of marketing tools including but not limited to email marketing, direct marketing, thought leadership, video, case studies, brochures, social media and more. 
  • Interface regularly with business and sales leadership on capturing and understanding needs, responding quickly with well thought out strategic plans and tactical deployments that regularly exceed expectations.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree. 
  • 10+ years of experience in multiple marketing disciplines including strategic marketing and planning experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing leadership role effectively managing staff, supervising product managers, product marketing managers, communication managers, project managers, copywriters, proofreaders or other professional marketing roles. 
  • Direct and proven experience in sales to B2B clients or in-depth support of the B2B sales executive leaders and channels required. 
  • Ability to lead, inspire and influence critical stakeholders to deliver on marketing strategy priorities especially with competing marketing execution deliverables and timelines. 
  • Experience with envisioning, creating, and executing complex marketing plans across a matrixed organization along with crafting powerful and effective communication campaigns to both internal stakeholders and external channel partners and customers for a variety of products, services, and solutions. 
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency, be detail oriented, and a collaborative team player who can partner across a diverse marketing team, spanning multiple time zones. 
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, team building skills, business judgment and proven experience in communications and marketing. 
  • Requires project management skills and ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment. 
  • Must be willing to travel 10% of time nationally as needed.

We Would Prefer:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree strongly preferred. 
  • Experience driving the Pragmatic Framework into an organization to drive profound change, transformation, and business results through a matrixed organization preferred.
