Director of Business Development

We are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our high performing sales team. The right individual will thrive as part of a continuously improving and modern organization. We have a strong culture of servant leadership and teamwork.

Qualified individuals will have a successful track record of identifying and closing new opportunities, expanding account relationships and consistently exceeding sales quotas. This person will be skilled at consultative selling and have a hunter mentality to acquire new Centare customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and lead sales opportunities with new and existing clients using your sharp and creative sales techniques
  • Act as a partner to clients and prospects by diagnosing business problems 
  • Develop and present solutions including: a) Training and coaching, b) Custom, project based application development and c) Technical consulting 
  • Deliver Centare’s expertise and abilities to clients across a wide range of industries 
  • Position and continuously improve Centare’s go-to-market strategy and offerings in collaborations with: sales engineering, practice leads, sales enablement and marketing teams. 
  • Maintain client and activity data in Microsoft Dynamics.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years’ of consistent success and proven accomplishments in a Business to Business technical sales role 
  • Ability to clearly understand, articulate and apply Centare’s unique value proposition around business agility 
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change. Continuous improvement means that changes happen a lot here! 
  • Strong network of business relationships and a desire to expand further 
  • Hands-on experience with current social selling and prospecting tools and techniques

Bonus Points For Experience With:

  • Experience selling professional or technical services
  • A basic understanding of software engineering/development patterns and practices 
  • Familiarity with modern sales techniques and strategies
