The Director of Client Services is responsible for working closely with the company president on strategic planning and guidance, while building and growing solid client relationships. Additionally, this role develops new client prospects and manages a team of account services professionals. The right candidate will be part of the company’s leadership team.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee, lead, and grow our account services staff. 
  • Work with clients to identify business goals, develop strategic marketing initiatives and comprehensive plans, and collaborate with our creative staff to implement solutions. 
  • Be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships by creating opportunities and cross- and upselling agency solutions that benefit the client. 
  • Continuously generate and close qualified leads.
  • Keep abreast of current marketing trends and technologies and help formulate long-term strategies and effective programs for both clients and the firm. 
  • Deliver business solutions profitably. 
  • Manage collaborative teams to solve both the clients’ and the company’s business challenges. 
  • Ensure the proactive management of accounts, which considers each client’s planning cycles and timelines. 
  • Engage in continuous learning and community events to promote the company and stay current on developments.

You’re our ideal candidate if:

  • You’re an expert at understanding and aligning agency capabilities with client challenges. 
  • You have advanced knowledge of inbound marketing, outbound marketing, lead generation, and demand generation. 
  • You have a thorough understanding of evolving marketing concepts and methodologies as well as tools and resources for ensuring quality-marketing output.
  • You excel at research, with the ability to develop and communicate products and services in a creative and influential manner. 
  • You’re equally effective at working with enterprise-level clients as you are with local and regional brands. 
  • You understand and quickly adapt to corporate branding standards. 
  • You’ve worked in an agency setting for 10–15 years and have at least 5–10 years of progressive management experience. 
  • You have experience in the ag and manufacturing industries to help you excel in the position. 
  • You have formal education in marketing, PR, communications, or a related field, as well as ongoing training and development.
