CVS Health, one of the top companies in the United States, is looking for a Director of CVS Caremark Communications as part of the CVS Caremark and CVS Specialty Communications Team.

Reporting to and working with the Senior Director of CVS Caremark Communications, the Director will help establish and build a revamped corporate communications strategy for our leading Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business targeting all of our audiences. You will align to business leaders in CVS Caremark to understand both opportunities and challenges in their growth strategy and become an advisor moving forward. You will also help protect the business's reputation by proactively sharing important aspects of the "Value of PBM" narrative while identifying and preparing risk management approaches across a variety of topics. Your ability to partner with colleagues in the PBM business (underwriting, network management, sales and account services, and related functions), along with the PBM marketing team, Government Affairs, Human Resources and Centers of Excellence in Corporate Communications is essential to success in this position. You will utilize your experience across multiple disciplines to provide guidance and execution of plans for us. You will be a key member of the Enterprise Communications team and will work with colleagues focused on multiple lines of business and corporate centers of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with media contacts at important media outlets, which will help create positive media coverage.
  • Be a company spokesperson for a variety of topics.
  • Work with business leaders and experts across the company to create written responses for media inquiries.
  • Develop materials, plans and strategies using best practices, creative ideas and audience insight.
  • Develop and implement communications solutions that support the PBM's.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years Communications experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health insurance or Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or Business

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
