The Director of Crisis Communications and Reputation Management manages crisis communications for Branigan's clients. You will work closely with our management team to strategize, facilitate, manage and exceed goals and client expectations. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing client crisis programs. You will ensure that all deliverables are strategically on target with clients’ business objectives and maintain day-to-day contact with them.

Director of Crisis Communications responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary crisis client contact; continually foster client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to client
  • Manage all functions of crisis communications and reputation management for Branigan clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute written crisis communications plans and manuals
  • Lead crisis communication training for clients
  • Serve as the primary on-call support resource in client crisis situations
  • While this candidate will serve as the primary lead on crisis communications and reputation management, he/she may also lead client work/account teams on a day-to-day basis
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience supporting crisis communications and related media relations for corporations at the executive level
  • A bachelor’s degree in corporate communications, journalism, public relations or related field
  • Demonstrated a proven level of crisis communications management at executive level
  • Client-facing account management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Corporate training experienceAgency experience a plus
