We are very excited to announce we are adding a new team member to our Marketing Department. We are currently hiring for a Director of Marketing and Communications to lead key marketing and communications initiatives throughout the organization. This is a newly created position due to growth. The position will primarily work-from-home and will travel to the Corporate Office, or other OSM facilities, approximately 20%.

Below is a summary of some of the key responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the VP, Marketing, help build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan. 
  • Collaborate with multiple departments across the organization in effort to implement marketing strategies to improve company brand and reputation. 
  • Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns. 
  • Manage the organization’s overall brand and lead generation strategy. 
  • Review, proof and edit all advertising materials for programs and events. 
  • Manage and update OSM online marketing strategy. 
  • Write and edit copy as needed for various marketing initiatives. 
  • Oversee and execute OSM's public relations, positioning, and media strategy. 
  • Consult with team to ensure alignment on brand strategy, consistent messaging and brand ID management and shares best practices around marketing tools and develops standard work. 
  • Develop and manage multi-channel/multi-media lead generation and lead management activities. 
  • Oversee event planning activities such as participation in Trade Shows, building grand openings, and other customer facing events. 
  • Leverage social media platforms to promote OSM services to prospective customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred. 
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles with progressive responsibility. 
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing best practices and experience developing B2B campaign content. 
  • Previous experience in the logistics industry a plus. 
  • Experience developing, managing and executing top-tier live and virtual events. 
  • Experience managing budgets, cost management and methods for improving operational efficiency. 
  • Extensive hands-on experience owning both the strategy and execution of the marketing communications function.
