Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and effectively direct a team of encompassing up to seven direct reports, responsible for these key functions: content strategy/copywriting, graphic design, production/project management, event planning, and marketing coordination

2. Provide leadership and workflow management in these areas: editorial direction, creative design/layout, campaign/collateral production, scheduling, and distribution of all organizational publications and campaigns

3. Lead projects as assigned, such as personalization or merger branding and communications, while delivering targeted results for marketing, advertising, and events

4. Allocate company resources to maximize collaboration, efficiency, and creativity while maintaining consistent branding and corporate identity across print and digital marketing channels

5. Develop and implement marketing promotions that achieve targeted levels across all phases of the product acquisition process. Develop compelling messaging and positioning to support the full range of loan and deposit products offered by Connexus

6. Establish, implement, and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications department; research and analyze marketplace trends to ensure the Connexus brand is positioned competitively

7. Comply with all compliance and Federal Regulations as they pertain to the position, including BSA

8. Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing or related discipline) or equivalent experience required

2. 4 - 6 years of experience in a director-level marketing communications role

3. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing communications

4. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, leadership, and presentation skills

5. Experience developing and managing budgets and hiring, training, developing, supervising, and appraising personnel

6. Experience overseeing the design and production of print and digital materials

7. Excellent conceptual, writing, and communication skills proven from at least five years of demonstrated experience

8. Self-motivated with the ability to independently prioritize projects, work under tight deadlines, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

9. Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged

10. Expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, along with word processing, and workflow/project management tools. Database and CRM experience a definite plus.
