Are you an experienced marketing manager looking for your next challenge? We are looking for a marketing professional with an insatiable drive for success who is eager and capable of helping us achieve our goals to grow the business to the next level of revenue and market share.

Reporting to the President, the Marketing Director is responsible for managing the Marketing Communications staff of six in the development and execution of all company and client-related marketing, advertising and promotional activities.

  • Provide President with timely status reports of all department and project activities
  • Participate in client meetings
  • Coordinate internal and external consulting activities
  • Recommend marketing messaging and corporate communications including writing and designing presentations, advertising, article submissions and other forms of internal and external communication
  • Establish and maintain corporate design and communications standards
  • Oversee print production
  • Prepare annual marketing plans
  • Recommend the overall marketing communications budget, media buying, and material development
  • Participate in strategy development with the President
  • Execute promotional campaigns on-time, under tight deadline pressure while staying within budget
  • Ensure effective, branded marketing communications including the company website, print communication, and advertising
  • In cooperation with the business development team, oversee team activities related to identifying new collateral materials needed, driving content, and securing resources for a range of sales and customer support vehicles including datasheets, success stories, brochures, customer newsletters, and product guides

  • In-depth understanding of marketing vehicles including direct mail, print collateral, advertising, electronic media, and sales tools
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, goal-oriented, high enthusiasm
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Multi-tasking ability, under pressure and tight deadlines

Required Education and Experience:

  • BS/BA degree, in marketing, business administration, or communications. 
  • Six years of marketing communications and/or agency experience
  • Experience with retail or consumer packaged goods desired but not required
  • InDesign or other graphics software; Acrobat; Microsoft Office Suite
