Position Details

Director of Marketing
Southeast Wisconsin
Kenosha, WI

The Director of Marketing shall develop and oversee the Company’s marketing efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness through online and offline marketing strategies. Responsibilities include developing an overall marketing plan, executing the plan, producing content, approving campaigns, and measuring the return on investment of various promotional methods. This position will be a hybrid postion with some work from home, some work from the corporate office in Kenosha, WI, and some work traveling to tradeshows.

With direction from ownership, the Director of Marketing will develop and implement marketing plans to drive revenue for OccuPro’s software systems and continuing education course portfolios and OccuCare Injury Prevention services.

The Director of Marketing will oversee the creation, design, development, improvement and execution of advertising and promotion material for all aspects of the company divisions of OccuPro and OccuCare Injury Prevention. The creation, development, improvement, and execution will include OccuPro’s software, continuing education, equipment and OcuCare’s services related to working with employer customers. The Director of Marketing will oversee updates, improvements, and execution on public websites, to include search engine optimized website content, social media, press releases, literature and e-mail campaigns.

This position will also manage the development and distribution of videos to promote the Company’s products and services and oversee all aspects of national and local tradeshows and other events in which sales staff will be attending. Lastly this position will work with ownership to demonstrate a return on investment through tracking in our content relationship management system, through google analytics and other tools to demonstrate a marketing ROI.


The Director of Marketing is responsible for:

  • Applying a learned understanding of target markets/audiences, customer insights and trends to build successful strategies.
  • Develops and oversees all advertising and promotions for the sales of OccuPro’s various software systems and continuing education courses, developing and maintaining brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Develops and oversees social media campaigns including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.  
  • Develops and oversees all marketing material to improve and maintain branding of company.
  • Develops and oversees all activities involved with company website. Occasional updates to website content. Oversees new website development.
  • Oversees weekly e-mail campaigns and news releases. Oversees weekly news announcements. Oversees mailing bulk e-mails on time based or pre-determined schedule. Oversees online marketing campaigns.  Update various online marketing for continuing education courses. Oversees online marketing including Google and Yahoo pay per click ads 
  • Performs analysis using google analytics and/or other metric tools to determine overall value of campaigns.
  • Develops and oversees professional journal and publication advertising, including print and digital. Develop a relationship with trade media personnel. Field calls from magazines looking to have OccuPro advertise. Oversees creation of ad. Coordinates placement.
  • Overseeing budget for advertising.
  • Develops and oversees advertising for individual and yearly continuing education courses including but not limited to updating public website, public website announcemen, online marketing announcements, E-mail marketing announcements, and direct mail marketing announcements
  • Overseeing all direct mailing of advertising for software and continuing education courses. Scheduling dates for bulk advertising mailers. Working with printers to meet deadlines. Creating and/or managing database for mailings.
  • Develops and oversees coordination of photo shoots or obtains photos for software and continuing education marketing purposes.
  • Develops and oversees all aspects of national, local, and regional tradeshows and other events. Coordinates show preparation including but not limited to booth procurement, event logistics, event management. Creates, designs, and deploys tradeshow marketing. Coordinates post show follow up information.
  • Supervise graphic designer/website developer and work with outside vendors as needed

The employee shall have:

  • 7 to 10+ years’ experience in marketing, healthcare related experience is a plus.
  • 7-10+ years’ experience in digital marketing; ability to implement best practices, including lead generation campaigns, and stay current on trends in digital marketing Experience planning and executing event marketing and willingness to travel to events
  • Experience managing a marketing budget
  • Experience directing staff and/or managing outside vendors to realize objectives
  • A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Promotions, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Course work, minor, and/or degree in Journalism will be a plus.
  • The ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
  • Ability to learn and understand industrial rehab/physical therapy/ergonomics concepts and programs 
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to work with all levels of individuals within an organization 
  • The individual shall be flexible, independent, a problem solver, and detailed oriented
