NAIOP Wisconsin is a Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. Founded in 1967, NAIOP has become the leading organization for developers, owners, and investors of office, industrial, retail, multi-family, and mixed-use real estate. NAIOP represents nearly 20,000 members and provides strong public policy advocacy, education, and business opportunities through a powerful North American network.

NAIOP Wisconsin was chartered in 2003 by industry leaders led by Jerry Franke, Mark Irgens, and Mike Mooney. Today the Chapter represents nearly 400 individual members working at more than 150 businesses across Wisconsin. We offer a strong network to build your pipeline, integrated, in-depth, and industry-specific education and informational programs, and a power public policy advocacy program.

Director of Membership Services, Events, & Digital Content
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

NAIOP Wisconsin seeks a self-starter that enjoys providing exemplary customer service. The Director must be someone who loves to learn and employ new technologies and strategies, and thrive in an ever-changing environment. The most qualified candidate will relish in building successful events from scratch and working with volunteer leaders to achieve the organization’s strategic goals.

Primary Focus Will Include:

  • Membership recruitment, onboarding, and benefit services, serving as the liaison between the Chapter and NAIOP Corporate, and as the staff lead for the Membership Committee. 
  • Event planning and coordination and serving as the staff lead for the Programs and Developing Leaders Committees. 
  • Digital content including website, Eventbrite, and e-communications (external and internal stakeholders) content and delivery. 
  • Administrative support to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Bachelor’s degree (communications, marketing, or related field) preferred.
  • Experience in marketing, communication, website content control, event management or customer service. 
  • Additional experience in graphic design, PR writing, digital media including advertising and SEO, and/or project management desired. 
  • Must be able to handle multiple project lines successfully. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently with internal/external clients across geographic locations. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work creatively under pressure to meet goals. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Eventbrite WIX website content control and management, Adobe Spark, Canva.
  • Salaried position based on experience.
