Position Summary:

The Director of Video Productions is responsible for video editorial and motion graphics projects, and creative/art direction on video shoots/edits, in collaboration with agency creative teams, and supporting the ongoing strategic direction and delivery of Life Time’s member facing and internal video production initiatives to align with distribution platforms (i.e.web, mobile, streaming players, digital signs, etc.). The Director of Video Productions has or acquires a deep knowledge of Life Times’ digital, video strategy to provide creative video production expertise to ensure that digital and video marketing impact and opportunities are fully leveraged to potential.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the development, creative direction, and execution of the brand style for Life Time’s array of video platforms 
  • Becomes a thought leader with our creative vision, and champion that vision throughout the organization 
  • Drives and evolves the Life Time aesthetic across video content and campaigns ensuring consistency with all consumer touch-points 
  • Fosters an open and collaborative and creative environment 
  • Creates amazing video assets as an individual contributor and leads by example 
  • Works with the video production team and agency creative teams to creatively tell our story and represent our brand 
  • Provides creative and art direction to our editors, motion graphic artists and videographers 
  • Acts as a strong voice within Life Time on the creative goals and priorities of video programming on all channels 
  • Edits and provides motion graphics for video projects: marketing initiatives, social media, executive teams, program content, Life Time’s websites, training materials and digital signs

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field 
  • 5 to 10 years of related work experience 
  • Ability to drive creative direction in video production and post-production 
  • Ability to create and pitch creative concepts for video to creative teams and clients 
  • Experience with sound design in an edit environment 
  • A strong work ethic, and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency 
  • Extreme attention to detail and commitment to high quality deliverables 
  • Strong sense of commitment to deliver projects
