Position Details

Director of Shopper & Channel Marketing
Southeast Wisconsin
Kenosha, WI

Jockey is seeking a Director of Shopper & Channel Marketing to join our Marketing team!

This position will lead our marketing efforts across various retail channels. This role will be pivotal in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and brand engagement through innovative shopper marketing initiatives.

This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area).


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute shopper and channel marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and drive sales in retail channels, including online platforms. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product marketing, media, and brand marketing teams to align channel strategies with overall media and brand objectives. 
  • Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in marketing strategies. 
  • Campaign Management: Plan and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring consistency in brand and product messaging, and maximizing ROI. Collaborate with the Direct-to-Consumer team to build an aligned approach to first and third party marketplaces on retailer websites, maximizing efficiency and outcome for the entire Jockey Organization. 
  • Budget Management: Oversee the shopper and channel marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and third parties, negotiating and managing process and contracts to optimize product placement and promotions. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence. 
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in shopper/channel marketing and communications, preferably in the apparel or retail industry. 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a multi-channel, online and offline retail environment. 
  • Deep experience in testing, measurement, reporting, and optimization. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to lead and inspire others, including direct reports, peers, and senior leaders in a fast-paced environment.
