Director, Product Marketing

Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, the Product Marketing Lead is responsible for leading the product storytelling vision resulting in commercial growth in the context of our brand. This person will not only deliver growth through innovative content strategy aligned to the overall business strategy, but will also achieve growth through the robust go to market plans cemented in our customer and consumer knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures consistency between our internal and external storylines and ensures the product has a distinctive and consistent voice, look and feel. 
  • In partnership with brand concepting/storytelling, conducts research and develops narratives describing the product value propositions in a unique way that connects with audiences. 
  • Implement a segment-level content strategy that aligns with the buyer journey and supports sales enablement. 
  • Works cross functionally to produce a wide array of content/collateral including interactive digital content and executive-level pitch decks. 
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to identify segment needs/drivers, future market trends, product enhancement opportunities, and pathways to improve customer loyalty as well as contribute to strategic planning direction. 
  • Maintain knowledge of the field by staying up-to-date of best practices, legal developments, emerging trends, technological advancements and benchmark comparisons in order to be competitive. 
  • Establish KPIs, reporting, and metrics analytics to communicate value and ROI to key business stakeholders.


  • 8+ years of experience in consumer marketing and/or product marketing plus a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required; if no degree, 10+ years of experience in consumer marketing and/or product marketing. 
  • MBA preferred. 
  • Ability to synthesize information (campaign metrics, market research findings, etc.) into actionable strategies and plans. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally to drive projects and results and to execute responsibilities with minimum supervision. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. 
  • Excellent presentation skills for both small and large audiences as well as executive level. 
  • Proven ability to influence and secure organizational buy-in.
