The E-Commerce Content Specialist is integral in creating and updating rich content for www.ulta.com. Rich content is key to the www.ulta.com growth and strategy and this position will focus on creating, modifying and deleting items and content from our product catalog. Extensive use of the ATG website content management tool (BCC) and MS Excel tools are critical to the success of this position.

Use your skills, experience & talents to be part of something BEAUTIFUL! As an E-Commerce Content Specialist you will perform the following essential functions…….

  • Manage item set-up process for new products to appear on www.ulta.com website.
  • Set-up process to include item-level content (text and imagery) for product descriptions, specifications, ingredients, usage directions, other.
  • Develop website content to include SEO tags and strategic key phrase placement within compelling copy that maximizes opportunities for search engine indexing, ranking, click-through, and conversion.
  • Modify existing products with content updates.
  • Work with merchants and IT to resolve data issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform ad hoc investigations into content management-related issues.
  • Work with outside vendor brand representatives to create and maintain brand boutiques on website.
  • 1-3 Years of web experience desired, with minimum of 2-3 years of prior work experience.
  • Prior experience and/or comfort using web-based software tools.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Quick learner - self motivated and able to multi task on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Process oriented and ability to solve problems...
  • Must be detail oriented and be able to proof own work.
