A 75-year-old company located in Milwaukee WI that designs and produces high-end children's clothing through both wholesale and E-Commerce sales channels. Eiseman has designed clothes for the children of celebrities and dignitaries world-wide, and most recently was selected to provide all baby gifts sent by President and Mrs. Obama during their 8 years in the White House. 

Garments are sold through such specialty deparment stores as Sak's Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman. Additionally, our clothes are sold in nearly 200 specialty children's boutiques all across the USA.

All garments are designed, patterned, distributed, and shipped from Milwuakee nationwide, while garments are produced in Peru, Columbia, and El Salvador.

With E-Commerce sales growing at a rate of 25-30% annually, this position requires a top-notch, savvy person with significant experience in digital marketing and E-Commerce enterprises. Creativity and innovation are a must.

The E-Commerce Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of strategies and execution of digital marketing for Florence Eiseman, a wholesale and online retail company, headquartered in Milwaukee, specializing in children’s fashion. Founded in 1945, this enduring brand is known for simple, classic designs that are durable and iconic - worn by America’s “royal” children, from the Kennedys to the Carters (that’s Queen Bey & Jay Z - to those in the know).

FlorenceEisman.com celebrates year-over-year growth, and much like the kids who wear the fashions, they’re not going to stop growing anytime soon. That’s why the brand needs a talented, hands-on digital marketing director who can strategically align the digital channels and ecommerce site to attract today’s buyers, while maintaining the loyalty of four generations of customers.

The company boasts a lean and agile team. Over the years they’ve used both agencies and freelance professionals to manage the design and completion of the work in their digital channels. As they’ve grown, they’ve recognized the value in having a dedicated e-commerce marketing manager who can address the full scope of digital campaigns, from concept to analytics, to streamline processes and accelerate execution. Specific Responsibilities:

In conjunction with marketing and e-commerce internal resources, the e-commerce marketing manager will develop a comprehensive e-commerce strategic marketing plan to include:

  • Comprehensive and targeted promotion of Eiseman garments across gender, size, style, and season Email marketing creative direction and development (current cadence is several messages per week) Multi-channel approach for social media marketing
  • Google & Facebook advertising management and implementation
  • Development and Implementation of customer appreciation and retention strategies

Hands-on management of:

  • FlorenceEisman.com and all integrated applications
  • Act as point person for the company’s upcoming website redesign
  • Scheduling and execution of all marketing efforts for each season launch of garments including social and email promotional calendars
  • Florence Eiseman’s social media strategy and social media engagement, especially on Instagram, and Facebook
  • Florence Eiseman’s paid search and paid social programs, ensuring a positive return on investment

Hands-on optimization of:

  • All FlorenceEisman.com pages and digital media campaigns
  • Use of photo assets for every marketing channel
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • A sales-focused strategy and execution of display and merchandising of garment styles

Hands on assistance with:

  • Photo shoots, photo selection and placement on website and other channels to maximize presentation of garments and support of sales/campaigns - photo art direction experience a PLUS!
  • Migration of inventory to Shopify (e-commerce platform)

Requirements:

  • Work experience equivalent to a BA/BS or a BA/BS in communications, marketing, or related fields. 
  • Minimum two to three years experience working with e-commerce brands 
  • Ideal software experience: Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Ads, and Facebook Ad programs/campaigns
  • Social media community management - applying best practices and innovations as appropriate. 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with proficient knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Employment status as W2 or 1099 will be negotiated directly and determine other benefits
  • Flexible working conditions - combination of remote (during Covid) and onsite work preferred, although this can be negotiated.
