What We’re looking for:

Do you geek out about SEO/SEM and creating and executing e-comm marketing campaign strategies? Well, we just may have the opportunity for you! We are looking for a new addition to our team who can take data and translate it into creative solutions and meaningful outcomes (i.e. revenues!). Our E-Comm Guru is a perfect blend of strategist and doer as this role collaborates with key stakeholders to conduct the necessary research to develop and execute killer online ad campaigns and report out the effectiveness of those campaigns – and do it again to grow our online retail presence! You’ll be part of a ridiculously chill team that are the best at what they do.

What you’ll be doing:

The big areas of focus for the E-Comm Guru are:

1.   E-Commerce Marketing Campaigns 

  • Accountable for SEO/SEM, paid search, PLA and CPC campaigns.
  • Research, planning, strategy development and execution of those campaigns within a given budget (that you’ll help develop)
  • Partner with 3rd party vendors to grow and optimize our paid search programs

2.  Reporting & Analytics 

  • Measure and grow site traffic, conversions, and ultimately, revenues
  • Provide meaningful, consumable reporting for key stakeholders to understand the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns and strategy
  • Effectively conduct competitor analysis and recommend strategies to win in our categories/channels
  • Evaluate trends and recommend key actions to effectively grow the positive and mitigate the negative

3.   Our Guru will pitch in and help out where needed to support the overall marketing strategy. 

What will make you successful:

  • Minimum 5 years of e-commerce experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred 
  • Working knowledge of web analytics platforms, optimization, and personalization tools such as Google Analytics, Monetate, etc.; Google Analytics and Adwords Certifications a plus 
  • Must have direct knowledge and experience with SEO, SEM, and paid campaigns 
  • Effectively offer input on and managing a budget for all online marketing campaigns 
  • Ability to work independently while maximizing overall management strategy 
  • Complete knowledge of MS Office is a must with a strong emphasis on Excel 
  • Adaptable self-starter who can manage dynamic deadlines 
  • Knowing how to talk with and relate to people in a way that builds relationships 
  • Attentive to details and cares about getting them right 
  • Tech Savvy with an appetite for technology and desire to stay tuned into the latest and greatest tech - and how to use it
