The Impact You’ll Make in this Role.

As an eCommerce Specialist supporting Amazon, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Executing brand-level and product-level eCommerce optimization for a key pure play eCommerce retailer. Responsibilities include designing and executing product page improvements through content enhancements. 
  • Optimizing product presence (new item setup, item maintenance, rich content/video development input, content health assessment), merchandising and demand generation (first-in-search optimization, price promotions, ratings & reviews) and sales analysis (promotional sales forecasting and post reporting). 
  • Works cross-functionally with 3M Sales managers, Shopper Marketing and Product Marketing teams to set online business direction, facilitate account growth and maintain alignment across teams. 
  • Work closely with eCommerce Supervisor and Product Experience Management (PXM) team to improve product presence by performing catalog scrubs, trouble shoot order fulfillment issues, pricing or Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) issues, and monitor invalid variations by reporting violations through retailer portal. 
  • Identify, execute and analyze eCommerce demand generation programs (on time, on budget and meeting accounts expectations). Drive understanding of eCommerce impact amongst CBG marketers, sales managers and management through best practice sharing, reports/dashboards and presentations

Your Skills and Expertise.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution 
  • Four (4) combined years eCommerce, digital marketing and/or merchandising experience in a private, public, government or military environment 
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Preferred two year minimum of eCommerce merchandising and operational experience 
  • Experience with eCommerce analytics Account management, sales planning and business development experience desired 
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role 
  • Experience analyzing and applying data to make decisions

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic travel
