Duluth Trading Company is known for our ingenious products and great story telling. In this newly created role we need someone who can build a strategic roadmap for our email marketing program delivering yearly sales growth and long-term file health. We seek a talented Email expert who knows how to increase response rates by establishing a customer segmentation strategy with relevant email content full of our fun and unique product stories. Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and budget yearly email channel sales forecast, expenses and staffing requirements; monitor and report performance on an ongoing basis.

Partner with ecommerce team and creative to design email content and website experiences that are optimized for conversion on all platforms.

Create customer segmentation strategy in partnership with Customer Insights team that align with short and long-term merchandising strategies.

Partner with Web Merchandising and Business Management teams to forecast and deliver on sales plans by balancing inventory and promotion levels.

Maintain a culture of rigorous testing and optimization - within emails (send time, subject lines) and on-site (message alignment, landing pages, content, etc.).

Manage partnership with Email Software Services Provider and consultants to ensure Duluth Trading performance exceeds industry benchmarks.

Align email program with advertising, promotion and editorial calendars.

Ensure Duluth Trading’s CRM strategy incorporates and leverages email data, and that email program leverages web, catalog, retail and call center data.

Knowledge and Background Requirements

Highly technical and digitally focused, should have experience in the following areas: A/B testing, website personalization, creation of digital content, successful partnerships with 3rd party service providers

5-10 years of digital marketing experience, preferably hands-on with email program management for at least 2-3 years of that period

Experience developing marketing plans that deliver on targeted objectives Experience leveraging customer data to improve business performance

Experience leading cross-functional teams towards a common goal Understanding of HTML, mobile technology and website CMS interactions
