Employee Communications Specialist
Twin Cities Metro
St. Louis Park, MN

In this position, you will get to:

  • Support enterprise-wide communication channels and strategy development in service of strengthening employee engagement
  • Leverage our existing channels and assets as well as new tools and technologies in service of speed and effectiveness
  • Manage and enhance the enterprise intranet platform and content
  • Be part of a dynamic, resourceful team of passionate and talented communicators who are building a team known for strategic, creative work and trusted partnerships
  • Play a key role in the work we’re doing to build our company culture – where empowering and engaging with our team members is key
  • Support internal clients through strategic communication planning and execution
  • Strengthen our approach to connecting with and supporting communications through our global network


Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing communications or closely related discipline

Previous experience in or with:

  • 3+ years of communications experience, preferably in engagement and culture communications 
  • Executive communications counseling and support 
  • Video and audio editing experience a plus 
  • Use of Microsoft Office365, especially SharePoint and PowerPoint design 
  • HTML code experience a plus


  • Strategic approach to communication engagement that customizes outreach methods to best engage audiences, including two-way communication 
  • Prolific, talented writer/editor who delivers crisp, clear and compelling communications in various formats that connect with audiences to drive engagement 
  • Growth mindset: passion for learning, always with an eye on the horizon for how we can improve today and for the long-term 
  • Excellent presence, including strong verbal and presentation skills 
  • Strategic communications counselor/coach who builds strong, trusted client and team relationships 
  • Selfless and highly self-aware team player who makes others around her/him better by modeling and informal coaching 
  • Strong interest in people and how workplace relationships can support or hinder communications 
  • Resourceful, highly adaptive to change; pivots easily and effectively between team and independent work
