Entry-Level Graphic Designer

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an entry-level graphic designer.

Responsibilities include assisting in designing and producing graphic design materials; providing photo touch-ups; editing and creating videos; creating motion graphics and animations; maintaining brand standards and images; assisting with photo shoots and maintaining the photo library; assisting with vendor coordination; and assisting with other design needs. Travel may be required.

The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling four years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable: bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, advertising, communication or related degree; associate degree in graphic design, art, advertising, communications or related degree plus two (2) years of experience; no degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

• Previous graphic design internship experience 
• Understanding of graphic principles, layout, and design 
• Experience with design projects such as ads, brochures, and presentations 
• Editing and creating videos 
• Ability to create motion graphics and animations 
• Knowledge of the print process and working with vendors 
• Understanding of branding, corporate marketing/communications, and target audiences 
• Strong written and verbal communications skills 
• The ideal candidate will have experience at an architectural or engineering construction firm.
