We are hiring a talented and motivated and Event and Hospitality Manager to organize memorable and fun events at Sprecher Brewing Co from start to finish. This individual will be responsible for every part of event preparations, event staffing, event day execution as well as the financials. This individual will be well-organized and possess excellent customer service skills. Professional communication and attention to detail are vital in this role, as the success of Sprecher events depends on meeting our customer’s tailored requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate a variety of events, including private parties, corporate events, weddings, beer tastings, festivals, and community events. 
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics. 
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event needs are met, including staffing, catering, entertainment, decorations, and equipment. 
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring events are financially viable and align with overall business goals. 
  • Track and monitor all event-related expenses, including vendor payments, staffing, and supplies. 
  • Generate invoices, process payments, and ensure timely collection of all event fees. 
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service and event day hands on service to event hosts and guests, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. 
  • Build a small set of repeatable experiences to surprise and delight taproom + tour customers on memorable occasions (eg. Birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, etc) 
  • Consistently look for ways to make a deeper impact on guests’ experiences at Sprecher. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing and graphics team to create promotional materials and campaigns for events. 
  • Collaborate with marketing team to promote events and drive attendance via social media, email, sms, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing or public relations is preferred. 
  • Self-directed, well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure without losing a customer-service oriented attitude. 
  • Team player who is able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment. 
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools. 
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. 
  • Able to work to deadlines and prioritize workload. 
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and assist in retail and tap room stocking. 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and work nights and weekends when needed.
