The Events Manager is a key member of the Experiential Marketing & Events Team. You will partner with business unit aligned marketing and growth stakeholders to provide an exceptional customer experience at a variety of events, tradeshows and conferences. In this role you will plan and oversee all aspects of our presence at B2B events and tradeshows. You will work with outside vendors and internal teams to create a presence that represents our brand and delivers results.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all trade show and event logistics including budgeting, setup, teardown, staffing, schedules, activations, displays, show orders, shipping and delivery, catering, meeting space planning, and on-site promotions 
  • Seamlessly coordinate and collaborate trade show and event planning with B2B sales and marketing stakeholders by developing and executing objective-based event plans to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement and generate leads 
  • Works cross-functionally to optimize booth layout, and product displays for all tradeshows 
  • Contribute to creating and deploying trade show and event playbooks and best practices to adhere to brand guidelines and support business unit objectives 
  • Problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of direct B2B event planning experience 
  • 3+ years of direct B2B event and tradeshow experience as a lead planner 
  • Intermediate proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft productivity tool 
  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time with more during peak seasons (Jan-April and Sept-Nov) 
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines 
  • Confident in verbal and written communication with all levels of an organization, external partners, and vendors 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage projects and be highly organized 
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in making decisions
