Event Planner / Producer

Derse, a face-to-face experiential marketing company that specializes in the design, fabrication, and program management for trade shows, business environments and events is seeking an experienced Event Planner / Producer for its Corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, WI location.

• Develop and manage events, meetings and venues
• Source, manage and track the production of face-to-face marketing initiatives
• Arrange, monitor and communicate project specifications and progress
• Negotiate vendor pricing & manage budgets/timelines for a number of accounts simultaneously
• Conduct research on destination venues and conduct site searches when appropriate
• Perform sales presentations with Account Executives for purposes of selling EM event/meeting capabilities
• Lead large event development
• Function as an active and eager participant in the realization of a wide variety of dynamic engagements for a number of high-profile brands
• Actively participate in the development of creative seed ideas
• Oversee implementation of events/projects to assure integrity of creative concepts
• Prepare & control budget parameters for events
• Ensure that creative/event/experiential end product matches project specifications

• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) perferred
• Possess strong organization skills and event production skills
• Experience working in an agency environment
• Strong experience in event direction and production
• Familiarity with interactive and/or video production a plus
• Previous project management experience
• Ability to communicate and present event ideation
