Purpose of role:

This role is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of all aspects relating to events and CEU tracking activities across multiple hearing device brands. This includes all functions of CEU administration and supporting processes, including but not limited to: CEU application & approval process; manage calendar of events; coordinate training events; manage A/V equipment; maintain online registration and training program. Manage training equipment needs across the organization.

Main Tasks and Responsibities:

  • Coordinate entire CEU application & approval process: submit CEU forms to appropriate agencies; enter attendee information into database; manage approval letter process; print and send certificates of attendance, etc 
  • Coordinate assigned customer events: identify meeting needs, establish training agendas, collate, acquire, and distribute training materials for events, manage follow-up process 
  • Manage Event calendar: update the training calendar daily; schedule meetings; communicate training information to internal and external customers 
  • Responsible for cost tracking and management while staying within defined event budget 
  • Manage all aspects of internal company events for local teams and VIP customers 
  • Partner with marketing managers to drive product launch activities including customer launch events and internal launch celebrations 
  • Meet and greet customers and facilitate any last-minute requirements (room set-up, equipment needs, room assignments, food & beverage requirements, business services and shipping procedures with client and appropriate team members) 
  • Manage Audio/Visual equipment & training computers: manage equipment log, oversee the distribution of A/V computer and demonstration equipment; maintain all equipment 
  • Maintain state and regional sponsorships and budget mgmt for commercial sales and national accounts for multiple hearing device brands 
  • Manage Event Management Platform (Cvent) registration system and other related meeting platform systems (i.e. Zoom, WebEx) 
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Skillset:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent required 
  • 2+ years of post-secondary education strongly preferred 
  • 3-5 years Previous events coordination experience required. 
  • 5+ Previous administration experience 
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing CEU database and/or planning training events strongly preferred. 
  • 3-5 years Previous experience with on-line training tools preferred. 
  • Industry experience 
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Strong proofreading skills to include spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, etc 
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Team player 
  • Taking initiative and ownership of projects and programs 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications and event management platform (i.e Cvent)
