Events and Member Engagement Coordinator needed to oversee all aspects of event planning and execution for client organizations. This role will support and lead the planning and logistics for client events, education, and meetings.

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution for client organizations.
  • Supports and leads the planning and logistics for client events, education, and meetings. 
  • Must be available to attend events, planning meetings and any other activities requiring coordination across Wisconsin. 
  • Establishes and maintain vendor relationships for all aspects of event planning 
  • Able to negotiate with business partners and vendors to gain cooperation, make cost effective decisions and achieve objectives 
  • Works within defined budgets to create engaging and profitable events 
  • Coordinate speaker logistics to ensure content development matches the overall goal of the education event. 
  • Comfortable designing virtual, hybrid and in person event opportunities 
  • Support client organization member outreach and engagement. 
  • Respond to member questions, problems with website access, and general information involving member benefits 
  • Develop and maintain firm-wide event schedule/calendar 
  • Work closely with the team and clients to provide necessary details, information, and materials in advance of events for both print and digital assets, enabling accurate and timely promotion of all events. 
  • Manages expectations of members, sponsors, and organizations with clear, persuasive and timely communication and fulfillment of benefits. 
  • Supports the other staff members and programming as needed and performs other duties as assigned. 
  • Maintains electronic record keeping of all events for tracking and coordination purposes.
  • Event management preferred 
  • Demonstrated successful experience in event planning from conception to completion including revenue generation. 
  • Comfortable networking and building relationships with clients and/or partners. 
  • Highly organized, excellent administrative skills, and capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines with strong attention to detail. 
  • Able to work well under tight deadlines and act quickly to resolve challenges. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with co-workers and partners to achieve organizational goals and objectives. 
  • Effective timely communication; both internally and externally. 
  • Superior customer service and communication skills. 
  • Strong computer aptitude (Google Suite, CRM & project management system, Excel, Word, Event Management Systems).

  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 30 pounds occasionally 
  • Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and reliable transport for travel throughout the state. 
  • In-State Travel up to 25%, some overnight and weekend obligations
  • $35,000-$39,000/year
