This position will be a key member of the Event Marketing team supporting various business units and/or solutions by assisting with the production of tradeshows, special events, and proprietary thought leadership conferences. This position will help build customer loyalty through successfully planning and executing events targeted at increasing visibility, retaining customers and attracting new prospects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead operational plans to ensure executed events achieve the event’s goals which includes pre-event, day(s) of event, and post-event logistics- venue sourcing, signing contracts, catering, registration, audio visual, branding, mobile app, budget reconciliation, etc. 
  • Establish a virtual event environment that engaging and interactive and manage the build, use, and training of the platform 
  • Act as a strategic partner to the business by recommending improvements to previous events, implementing industry best practices, suggest innovative ideas and cost efficiencies 
  • Coordinate deliverables with marketing strategy and creative services team including graphics, literature, advertising, promotional items, etc. 
  • Create Eloqua campaigns, set-up lead capture, upload event leads, and analyze the results for regular metrics readouts 
  • Create and distribute event-related communications as needed 
  • Manage industry association relationships and memberships- advise marketing on association promotional options for maximum exposure 
  • Plan, forecast, and manage a defined budget

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in marketing, communications or similar discipline with at least 2 years of marketing or event coordination experience in a professional setting 
  • Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills to communicate with vendors, event attendees, supervisor and team/staff 
  • Ability to problem solve and maintain composure 
  • Attention to detail, coordination, and logistics
  • Strong project management and follow-through skills 
  • Intermediate proficiency in Salesforce (or any other CRM), Aventri (or other registration software), Microsoft Office, Outlook and Zoom 
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
