The executive creator director (ECD) is responsible for establishing and infusing the creative vision and beliefs within the Landor creative community. They are accountable for setting the direction of the creative process within the office, and providing inspirational leadership for the creative team. They are a visionary, a storyteller, a brand strategist through design and an advocate for the creative process. The ECD partners with clients and client teams as a leader and individual contributor. In conjunction with the creative leadership team, they are responsible for career development within the wider creative team. The ECD will be responsible for leading a team that inspires great work that drives business results.
The ECD should be a master new business developer, presenter and partner with the new business teams and regional leadership as an effective, compelling champion of Landor and our offering. The ECD should have a commanding and compelling presence, be able to weave stories about our work and process, and connect each to the prospect’s challenge. The ECD must be a major force in winning new business.
The ECD must also be a compelling and adaptive presenter internally and with existing clients. The ECD should be able to inspire and teach the internal teams through thought provoking stories about his or her experience, our work and the navigation of journeys in the pursuit of great work. The ECD should establish a strong relationship and rapport with major clients, be able to effectively present our work and influence the adoption of our recommendations. In so doing the ECD should also be helping others develop their own, effective presentation styles.
