Put your creative marketing and design skills to work at the Deerfield Park District. Help share our brand identity with the community by designing and producing printed and digital marketing materials. You will also be empowered to utilize your creative photography and videography skills capturing indoor and outdoor recreation memories of people engaging in park district activities.

We are looking for:

Part Time: 10 hours per week, year-round with a combination of weekday, weeknight and weekend hours

Pay rate: $18-20 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Start Date: Immediately following interview process

Closing Date: Open until Filled

Essential Functions:

  • Embrace the Deerfield Park District brand and positively showcase the brand to the community. 
  • Design and produce printed marketing materials including but not limited to; signs, banners, posters, and flyers in various sizes and formats. 
  • Capture memories at programs, events, at facilities and in parks via videography and photography. 
  • Storytelling through use of photography and videography. 
  • Archive and maintain digital library.

Requirements:

  • Enjoy collaboration and a team environment. 
  • Patient and flexible. 
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail. 
  • Enjoy having fun! 
  • Proficient in Adobe CS Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. 
  • Graphic design experience. 
  • Photography and videography skills. 
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. and potentially be on your feet for long periods of time. 
  • We abide by the Park District Code.
