Do you embrace and get excited about rolling up your sleeves and building really cool campaign and on line graphics that excite customers and move them to action? Are you able to juggle those proverbial balls, plates, or bowling pins? (Whichever analogy works for you) without finding them in a hapless mess at your feet? Do you pride yourself on quality, not just quantity of work and understand the importance of accuracy? (Read the copy not just rely on spellcheck.) Do you enjoy working in a casual, team-orientated environment, have a degree in design, graphic arts, production art or a related field, and at least 3 years of related experience with examples to show? Who you are:

An expert in communication and organization, you are eager to help our team deliver compelling graphic design projects from concept to completion. You are a strong visual storyteller with an ability to connect with our customers visually through social media, campaigns, e-commerce, catalogs, packaging and trade shows. You consider yourself driven and willing to share your positive attitude. You possess a collaborative work ethic mindful of deadlines, and demonstrate a strong passion for design trends. You have expertise using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. on MAC. Motion graphics skills and video editing are not required but are a big plus)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Creative Services Manager, the graphic designer is responsible for creating and executing visual, written, and multimedia communications for various marketing platforms (print, digital, social media and web) while ensuring all projects are branded properly and meet corporate standards.

  • Responsible for seeing assigned graphic design projects through from concept to completion, including preparing final designs for production and distribution. 
  • Production work utilizing Adobe InDesign & Photoshop platforms as well as Catalog Builder software. (Training will be provided) 
  • Willingness to utilize project management software such as Assana or Workzone to locate key details related to a project. 
  • Support internal and external photography and/or videography sessions as needed. 
  • Able and willing to improve technical knowledge and hone design skills in an effort to stay current with trends in social media, design, and advertising. 
  • Develop creative solutions and implement effective marketing strategies on time and in budget 
  • Craft communications for use on our various social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.) 
  • Ability to work independently, with the marketing team, and with other internal and external relationships. 
  • Support Trade Show efforts by developing graphics, signs, coordinating show materials and readying materials for shipments. 
  • Act resourcefully to gather missing information in the pursuit of a marketing communication project. 
  • Work with product marketing and NPD as needed to secure product information, samples and any and all missing elements to insure an on-time delivery of assets.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have 3 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proof reading. 
  • Well organized and willing to adapt to established systems of organization 
  • Strong in creative problem-solving, resourcefulness, and working as a team 
  • Ability to prioritize and react favorably to an ever-changing environment in a professional and courteous manner 
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously and create timelines to complete projects on or before deadlines 
  • Innovative mindset with an ability to create solutions to new and existing challenges 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision 
  • Experience with printing collateral (designing and printing) 
  • Knowledge of Adobe video editing platform(s) a plus or willingness to learn. 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, WordPress, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp or similar platforms a plus.
