We are currently hiring for an in-person position.  This is not an entry-level position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Use Adobe Creative Cloud software to provide professionally designed print and electronic materials. Including but not limited to: brochures, logos, branding, letterheads, envelopes, certificates, posters, flyers, business cards, stickers, indoor and outdoor signage, banners, yard signs, notepads, labels, apparel graphics, marketing materials, booklet design, wall graphics, banners, large-scale event collateral.

Additional responsibilities include refining/editing images, locating and selecting photographs or imagery from stock photography sites, applying typography techniques, the review and modification of print color, the correctness of fonts and graphics for quality and format and exporting prepress files.

Additional duties related to graphic design include managing projects from conception to delivery, listening to customer needs and project direction, identifying correct font selection, paper type, press and bindery functions. Manage a graphics and photographic library and maintain digital records of all projects on the server and storage units.


This position requires excellent design, communication, interpersonal & organizational skills. The ability to multi-task & meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required. In addition, this person will be able to thrive in a team environment while maintaining strong attention to detail & processes. This individual must also possess the ability to work with minimum supervision. Ideally this person will have working knowledge of graphic design & quality typography, visual branding, offset printing processes & prepress requirements. In addition, this person will possess a good understanding of page layout & design using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop) on a Mac platform.


  • Associates degree in related field. Two (2) years of additional experience may substitute for this requirement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a print shop or related environment, which may include a combination of experience in graphic design, digital prepress, typography, page layout, print production &/or finishing methods.
  • This is not an entry level position.


  • Ability to create & produce advanced graphic materials using a range of methods, techniques, & equipment. 
  • Knowledge of principles & practices of graphic design. 
  • Ability to identify & interpret graphic design needs & develop creative & responsive design concepts. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate effectively, both orally & in writing, with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community. 
  • Ability to develop a workflow for multiple concurrent projects with frequent interruptions. 
  • Ability to prioritize work & resources across multiple priorities based on short- & long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with the team. 
  • Customer service skills are essential to this position. 
  • Ability to communicate, interact & work effectively & cooperatively with all people including those from diverse backgrounds. 
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time. 
  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds. 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, lift & carry. 
  • Operating knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & Adobe InDesign required. 
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & various stock art & photography sources. 
  • Operating knowledge of bindery equipment preferred. 
  • Training will be provided on the digital copiers from the manufacturer.
