And, we are one of 12 CESAs in Wisconsin – we are CESA 6! With offices headquartered in Oshkosh, WI, CESA 6 serves 39 public school districts in Dodge, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Outagamie, Washington, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago counties. We are governed by an eleven-member Board of Control representing the public school districts in our region.

At CESA 6, we keep our eye on the current education landscape, and think ahead (Smart Thinking that is!) to be proactive and responsive and meet the changing needs of the educators who use our services. CESA 6 is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to work 10+ hours per week through the summer to support our Communications Department.

CESA 6 is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design intern to support the Graphic Designer and Communications Director in an open-minded and ambitious environment for the summer.

This position will work alongside the Graphic Designer, and Communications Director as needed, to assist with a variety of projects that may include, but are not limited to:

  • Brochures, letterheads, business cards, flyers, posters, PowerPoint and other various templates
  • Social posts and email banners
  • Providing drafts, write-ups and design ideas to Graphic Designer & Communications Director

CESA 6 will work with the intern to provide academic credit where applicable.

The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively, effectively, professionally and tactfully with internal agency staff, vendors and external clients, with the ability to meet high standards of customer service and provide close attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to strict timelines
  • Ability to adhere to the CESA 6 brand voice and guidelines
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team-player with the Graphic Designer, Communications Director and other staff/clients in a highly collaborative environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the willingness and ability to share ideas, provide constructive feedback/input and think outside the box
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to build rapport and manage relationships
  • Eagerness to broaden design skills and seek real-world experience in the creative environment

This is a paid internship opportunity at an hourly wage between $10-12 per hour.
