Graphic Design Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with engaging social media content including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Assist with design creation and development including print, web, and concept design.
  • Develop and create marketing materials that incorporate the brand essence of gener8tor and all of its programs.
  • Assist with brand management.
  • Opportunity to work with startup companies with their brand and design needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required by gener8tor staff.
  • Travel, attend and work some work events during and after business hours in addition to some weekends.
  • Support the gener8tor team across multiple programs: gener8tor, gBETA, gALPHA, OnRamp Conference Series, Project North, OnRamp Insurance Accelerator, The Brandery, NMotion, Backline, Fellowship.artand Motown Musician Accelerator.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. (Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud programs is a plus.) 
  • Working laptop & own Adobe Creative Cloud. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly using visual mediums (digital and print). 
  • Self-starter/ambitious. 
  • Organized and manages time well. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple ongoing projects and responsibilities. 
  • A “no job is beneath me” mentality. 
  • Flexibility to work some nights and weekends– we’re not a Monday-Friday, 9-5 operation! 
  • Social media/marketing skills is a plus.

Twenty hours a week.
