Marcus Theatres creative services departmentis seeking a talented graphic design internavailable to work 15-25 hours per week during the school year andup to 40 hours per week in the summer. The ideal candidate has a keen sense of style and takes direction well. He/shewill assist in creating web and print materials for our theatres and restaurant locations. This paid internship offers excellent exposure to a corporate environment and presents an opportunity for a designer to strengthen his/her skills and portfolio.

All applicants must be going into their Junior or Senior years of college and have the ability to work full time during the summer and part-time during the school year.

Intern responsibilities include:

  • Design ads for print/web
  • Update weekly web graphics
  • Assist with design and production of brochures, newsletters, sales collateral, on-screen visuals, digital campaigns, etc.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience and understanding of design principles 
  • Be a current college student, working towards a degree in graphic design or similar field
  • Self-motivated, efficient and flexible; willingness to assist with quick turnaround projects and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail, efficient, organized, and productive in a collaborative, team environment
  • Possesses strong writing/proofing skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the movies!
  • Software: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator required; After Effects and Premiere are a plus 
  • Portfolio: Must be able to present portfolio of 8-12 pieces
  • Create professional portfolio pieces
  • Enjoy movies for free!
