Position Title: Graphic Design Intern 

Organization: SRH, 1830 N Hubbard St, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Cycle: Fall Semester (September 1 — December 31, 2022)

Compensation: $15/Hour plus academic credit (if applicable)

Start Date: September 1, 2022

Time Requirements: Part Time10-15 Hours/Week

Major(s) Requested: Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field

A design internship at SRH gives students an opportunity to spend time in the ‘real world’ of an agency, to practice & sharpen their skills and engage & bond with members of our team. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who already have skills in place and do real, relevant agency work. 

Requirements 

Must be a current or recently graduated student studying design, graphic design, visual communication or related field at an accredited institution. Interns should register through their school internship program to receive academic credit. Students need to be approved for the internship. A 2.5 GPA is required and most students will have completed their sophomore year to be eligible. 

What they’ll do

  • Design and produce graphics for digital, print, out of home and more
  • Design presentations in Google slides and other presentation formats
  • Work under the tutelage of SRH’s creative professionals
  • Collaborate with the entire SRH team on ideation and brainstorming

Computer and software will be provided.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - primarily Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
  • Knowledge for G-Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc.)
  • trong understanding of design principles in both print and digital spaces
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Efficiently, accurately and beautifully complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
  • Organized, dependable and flexible
  • Availability to work from our Brewer’s Hill office, as well as work remotely via Google Hangouts
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS & related platforms (Wordpress, Squarespace, Instapage, etc.) is a plus 

$10/Hour plus academic credit (if applicable). This paid position can also be utilized for college credit and has the potential to become a full-time position, pending availability.
