MGIC’s inhouse Marketing Department is seeking a Graphic Designer with proven B2B (business-to-business) multichannel experience. The right candidate must possess an advanced knowledge of corporate branding, layout and production techniques and processes for digital and print media, producing deliverables that meet desired business results. As part of the Creative Services team in Marketing, this role is responsible for supporting and executing the creative strategy for MGIC through visual design and production implementation. This individual can devise and transform concepts into high-quality, easy-to-understand assets that educate, inspire and further the development of the MGIC story across multiple platforms and channels. Candidates should be highly collaborative problem-solvers with a passion for producing engaging and visually rich creative solutions.

MGIC’s Creative Services team provides a wide variety of multichannel marketing and content solutions, making each day a new and interesting adventure. As a Graphic Designer, you’ll work with a passionate team and be involved in many areas including brainstorming, concepting, theme development, design and production for print and digital media applications from ads and events to videos and web pages.

  • Design and production of forward-thinking creative concepts, campaign assets and graphic elements that maintain the continuity of the MGIC brand across the entire marketing mix.
  • Conceive, develop and implement B2B digital and print materials for campaigns, promotional programs and meeting/event deliverables for teams across the entire enterprise.
  • Digital media applications include display ads, emails, interactive content, presentations, web pages and social media. Print applications include sales collateral, infographics, promotional items and event signage.
  • Efficiently prioritize and multitask to enhance team productivity within a highly dynamic work environment. Anticipate project needs and proactively provide innovative solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of printed materials utilizing ecommerce platform and engaging internal and vendor resources.
  • Maintain awareness of current design trends for print and digital media, including new techniques and technology in photography, typography, illustration, design, animation/motion graphics, and video.
  • Consistently communicate timely and accurate information as projects progress, meet deadlines and execute quality standards.
  • Collaborate with creative director and marketing team to identify and define design specifications to ensure design solutions meet objectives and quality standards.
  • Review deliverables prior to publishing to ensure they meet standards and/or are press-ready.
  • Able to work under the guidance of the creative director and independently, to participate in the creative process as needed from concept to completion.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Knowledge:

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with and ability to adopt and utilize a variety of design and content creation software such as Figma, Ceros and Knak.
  • Experience with managing and monitoring workload with project collaboration, file management and workflow tools like Wrike.
  • Interest in and some experience working within content management systems (CMS) like Sitecore and marketing automation (MA) platforms like Marketo.
  • Experience with animation (AfterEffects, Principle, etc.) or languages used for web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Interest and experience in video editing/production and/or copywriting/editing is a plus.
