Kapur is actively seeking a Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist to assist our Communications Group. This position is based in Milwaukee, WI but will assist with company efforts firm-wide. This is an office-based position at our Headquarters. As part of our Communications Group team, you will provide graphic or multimedia design in collaboration with all company departments on identified pursuits in the preparation of client solicitations, including requests for qualifications (RFQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and interview efforts. The role will also include assisting our public involvement team in creating materials for WisDOT and municipal design and construction projects.

Marketing & Proposals:

  • Supports RFQ and RFP development (i.e. graphics, writing, resumes, and project descriptions)
  • Assists Communications Group in the creation of marketing content (print and digital) and a variety of internal projects as directed
  • Supports with photo/video shoots as needed
  • Curate, write, publish, and update content for website and social media platforms
  • Ensure all deliverables fall within Kapur brand guidelines

Public Involvement:

  • Supports Public Involvement Team with a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to, presentations, graphics, exhibits, newsletters, mailers, photography/video, social media content, and email blasts on high-level civil engineering projects
  • Collect data and manage databases
  • Support day-to-day operations on public involvement projects
  • Attend Public Involvement Meetings/Hearings as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Preferred Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry a plus
  • Proficient with the use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Acrobat), Microsoft Office, MailChimp, and Hootsuite
  • Proficiency in photography and videography a plus
  • Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively amongst all teams and levels of our organization
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • High attention to detail; proofreading skills
