Graphic Designer - Marketing Support

As the Marketing Support Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating and deploying a diverse range of digital graphic and design assets to support our digital marketing, training, social media, business development and event planning needs.

You will be responsible for doing a variety of digital design work, from concepting and creating to producing final digital assets such as web pages, sales landing pages, email promotions, email newsletters, web-based design elements that include photos, videos and motion graphics.

• Determine what photographs and artwork to use in in a project 
• Keep up-to-date with current digital trends of the job including, but not limited to, software, industry best practices, computer and other hardware, and consistently bring new ideas to collaborate on 
• Apply this knowledge to create best-in-class designs for assigned projects 
• Collaborate with the team requesting the project, copywriter, and other colleagues to work together to get the best finished product for the end user. 
• Specify material details such as style and size of type, photographs, and graphics and work with project managers. 
• Match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness 
• Resize and optimize images for web use 
• Develop web pages and emails using a WYSIWYG editor and HTML/CSS Showcase your designs and communicate design choices effectively 
• Maintain brand identity and visual strategy by ensuring consistency across all designs.

• At least three years experience in a professional design position with increasing levels of responsibility 
• A combination of accredited education and on the job skills that provide exceptional knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles 
• Must have an inspiring and strong portfolio showcasing strategic, conceptual and creative design with attention to detail and a passion for great ideas 
• Competent in using and navigating MacOS 
• Highly proficient across the Adobe Creative Suite, especially XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Acrobat. 
• Knowledge in After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus 
• Experience with WordPress/website management and Unbounce. 
• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio is a plus 
• Proficiency in Google Office Suite and Trello 
• Strong understanding of web and email design best practices Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP Digital production knowledge in order to design for multiple platforms 
• Talent to conceptualize creative and original design ideas about a given topic with a keen eye for aesthetics and details. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment while having a high standard of detail and accuracy 
• An eye for aesthetics to ensure graphic design visually appealing and offers a great user experience using composition, visual hierarchy, typography 
• Self-motivated, self-starter who is able to think critically about problems, troubleshoot and solve problems independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and exceed expectations 
• A complete disdain for mediocrity and willingness to do whatever it takes to create great designs and is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
